iconn.org Connecticut’s Digital Library provides free access to a variety of databases, including history, science, biography, magazine & newspaper articles, and much more.  It also provides access to a state-wide catalog of library holdings.

World Vital Records: Search over 5 billion Family History and Genealogy records, and 28 million family trees. Access key collections: U.S. Federal Census images and indexes from 1790 to 1940; military records; 1 billion newspaper articles; unique, exclusive local and world collections.

The Hagaman Library subscribes to the following newspapers:

  • New Haven Register (current month on shelf; past 12 months in storage)

  • New York Times (current month)

  • Wall Street Journal (current month)
