GET A FREE LIBRARY CARD!

For East Haven Residents : Adults and children can get an instant library card by coming in to the library and showing proof of residence, such as a photo ID, driver’s license, a recent utility bill or other mail with their name and address listed on it.

For Out of Town Connecticut Residents: Even if you are not an East Haven resident, you can enjoy all of the same library services as a resident of East Haven! To do this, you will need a valid, up-to-date library card from the library in the town you reside in (and pay taxes in). Bring that card in to the Hagaman Library and our staff will register you to use our library.

ONLINE LIBRARY CARD REGISTRATION

East Haven residents 18+ can fill out a library card application online by clicking here: online application form, however, they must also come in to the library and show proof of residence to receive their card.
The library’s hours are:
Monday, Friday, and Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm.  
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday:  10 am – 8 pm
Sundays: closed
Closed on Saturdays in July and August
