Enjoy a discussion of Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s Frankenstein: Or, the Modern Prometheus on Tuesday, September 9 at 6pm via Zoom.

In Mary Shelleys Frankenstein, a young scientist named Victor Frankenstein, obsessed with the secrets of life and death, creates a grotesque being from body parts. Horrified by his creation, he abandons it. The creature, rejected by society and his creator, seeks revenge, leading to tragedy for both. The novel explores themes of ambition, responsibility, and the dangers of unchecked scientific ambition, according to literary analysis websites.
