Summer Shorts: Short Story Discussion – June 23rd, 3:30 PM [Virtual]
All throughout this summer, we’ll be discussing a variety of Short Stories together! These stories will all be easily accessible for free online and just a few pages long!

What is Lost Media? How is it found again? Join us via Google Meet to discuss it with other teens!
How it works:
1. Before the event, you’ll get a list of videos related to the topic to watch and where to find them.
2. Watch those videos at your leisure, as many or as few as you’d like.
3. Join us to talk about them!

Thursday Afternoon Film: “Raya and the Last Dragon” – July 29th, 2:00 PM [DeMayo Room]
Join us on Thursday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m. for a showing of the film Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) starring Kelly Marie Tran & Awkwafina.
Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. However, when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned, and it’s up to a lone warrior to track down the last dragon and stop the Druun for good.
Food and drinks (with the exception of water-you may bring in your own water) are not allowed inside the Library at this time. Please note: The Library Director and the Library Board of Trustees continue to analyze these policies and update them as needed.
