Silent Film Series: “Sunrise” (1927) (TV-PG) with an introduction and Q & A by Film Scholar Fred Guida- Wed., June 4-5:00 p.m. (pizza) 5:30 p.m. (film)

Join us for pizza, drinks, and a screening of the silent film Sunrise (1927), starring Janet Gaynor and George O’Brien. Pizza and drinks will be served at 5:00 p.m., with the film starting at 5:30 p.m. Film scholar Fred Guida will provide an introduction and take questions after the screening.

In this classic, a farmer’s affair with a city seductress nearly ruins his life. This is the first of three silent film screenings this summer. Upcoming films are:

  • Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lodger (1927) – August 6, 5:00 p.m.
