Tabletop Club

Thursdays Sept. 18, Oct. 16, Nov. 20 | 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Learn to play Dungeons & Dragons at Tabletop Club! Play as woodland creatures in this grand adventure to fight the fires threatening all of Humblewood! All materials are provided. Library Character Sheets will be available, but players may bring their own character for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition. Open to teens age 12 to 18. Drop-ins welcome. Crafternoon Hangout

Tuesdays Sept. 23, Oct. 28, & Nov. 18 | 4 – 5 pm

Tweens & Teens can drop in, hang out & try out a different craft each month! We’ll be making jewelry in September, hosting a black-light paint party in October & diamond painting in November! Virtual Event: Protecting Kids from Online Sex Abuse

Thursday, Sept. 11 | 4:30 to 5:30 pm

Drawing from their experience in undercover operations with ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) law enforcement teams, SOSA will provide a vivid understanding of the dangers of abuse & perpetrators’ behavior. Attendees will learn about commonly-used grooming tactics, red flags, prevention methods & steps to take if abuse has occurred. This presentation is made possible by a grant from the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven. Parents & teens are welcome to attend. Atmos-FEAR

Tweens & Teens are invited for a Halloween Hagaman Tradition! It’s our annual game of Atmos-FEAR, a vintage VHS-based board game. Take on the mantle of a classic monster like a witch, vampire, or werewolf as you race to be the first to collect all six keystones. But the sinister Gatekeeper will be waiting to throw the game off course! Please note: this game is horror-themed & recommended for tween & teens ages 10 & up. Murder Mystery Party: Disaster at the 50s Diner Dance-Off

Enjoy an evening of mystery! Everyone will be assigned a character & you will “act” as your character throughout the party. The murderer knows they are the murderer & is trying to cover their tracks while the other players try to figure out whodunnit! Open to teens age 12 to 18.
