Take It & Make It!

Available All Month | Complete On Your Own Schedule!

Pick up take & make craft kits at any of our teen programs or at our weekly Popup Library at the East Haven Senior Center. A new kit will be available each month! Crafts to be announced. Available on a first come, first serve basis to teens age 12 to 18. If you’re unable to pick-up at a teen program, contact the teen librarian, Miss Emily, to pick up a kit at the pop-up library at the senior center: ekalotai@hagamanlibrary.org

 

Teen Advisory Group

Thursday, Jan. 8th | 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Teen Rec Room, Hays School, 1 Maple St

Help us make the library a better place for yourself and all teens! Discuss new library programs, vote on new books to add to our teen collection, and more! Open to all Middle and High School students in East Haven and the surrounding areas. All teens joining us will earn community service hours for their participation! Open to teens age 12 to 18. Drop-ins welcome. This program made possible by East Haven Rec & Youth Services Departments.

 

Virtual Event: Teen Gaming Hour

Saturday, Dec. 13 | 1:30 – 3:30 PM

Manga Club: Cat + Gamer, Vol. 1

Discuss our featured manga title plus all your favorite series at manga club! For our inaugural meeting we’ll be discussing Cat + Gamer, vol 1, by Wataru Nadatani, available online for free via Hoopla! Open to teens age 12 to 18. Crafternoon Hangout

Tuesday, Jan. 27 | 4 – 5 pm

EH Senior Center, 91 Taylor Ave

Kids, Tweens & Teens can drop in to hang out, and try out a different craft each month! We’ll be making bath fizzies in December, creating kandi bracelets in January, and sculpting with polymer clay in February! Open to students in Grades 5 to 12.
