Poetry Lounge and Open Mic! To be held outside, weather permitting! Wednesday, June 7 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Come and share your poetry at the Hagaman Memorial Library, 227 Main Street on Wednesday, June 7 at 6:00 p.m.! There will be a poetry reading performance by poet Deborah Elmore and a Poetry open mic! Free and open to teens and adults! The Poetry Lounge and Open Mic starts at 6:00 p.m.!

We will be meeting outside on the front lawn of the library weather permitting!  Chairs will be provided, but you can also bring your favorite lawn chair too! Whether you like to read poetry that has been written by someone else or your own poetry, join us for a beautiful ambiance and all kinds of creative fun!

Extra parking for evening and weekend library events is available in the East Haven Town Hall parking lot on 250 Main Street (across the street from the library), in the KeyBank parking lot next to the library (after 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays) and in the Stop and Shop lot behind the library, accessible from Messina Drive.
